Make comfortable, casual dungarees with topstitched front and back pockets and loose trouser legs. Roll up the legs for a relaxed finish.

Elsie features a diamond-shaped back piece where the shoulder straps attach, with three buttons at each side to fasten the dungarees.

Suggested fabrics

Choose medium-weight cotton, linen, denim or corduroy. Try a plain fabric or striped denim, as used for the pictured version, to create a different look.

• 2 dungaree buckles, 3.8–4cm
• 2 sliders, 3.8–4cm
• 8 buttons or 8 jeans buttons with nails, approximately 17mm in diameter

Printed pattern sheets and sewing instructions in English, Dutch and French. Pattern pieces overlap and are printed on both sides, so plan to trace your size. Seam allowances are included on the pattern sheet.
