Make a stylish, short winter jacket with a one-piece collar, zip fastening and placket. The collar construction is easier to sew with heavy fabrics.

Louise features an elegant back yoke that extends into the back sleeve, with side panels for added structure. The front echoes this design with its own yoke and side panels, complete with integrated pockets. Two small pleats at each sleeve hem lead into a cuff.

The jacket is fully lined for warmth and comfort. Elastic at the hem starts at the front side panels, creating a snug, flattering fit.

Suggested fabrics

Choose a medium- to heavyweight fabric such as wool, a wool blend, corduroy, denim or teddy fabric.

• Main fabric and lining: check the pattern's fabric-requirement table for your size
• Matching thread
• Iron-on interfacing: 1m
• 5 snap fasteners, approximately 15mm
• Separating coat zip: 50cm for sizes 34–44; 55cm for sizes 46–52
• Elastic: 3cm wide

Printed pattern sheets and sewing instructions in English, Dutch and French. Pattern pieces overlap and are printed on both sides, so plan to trace your size. Seam allowances are included on the pattern sheet.
