Atelier Jupe Tilde dress

Make an elegant shirt dress with a gathered back, flowing skirt and belt. Tilde's four-fifths-length sleeves are gathered at the sleeve trim.

Choose a standard button placket or, for a more experienced sewing project, a hidden button placket. The pattern also includes a regular shirt collar and a stand-up collar.

Suggested fabrics

Choose a light- to medium-weight fabric such as viscose, Tencel, cotton, linen or polyester.

Supplies

• Main fabric: sizes 6–10: 2.6m; size 12: 2.8m; size 14: 3.2m; sizes 16–24: 3.25m (or 3.35m with the stand-up collar)
• Matching thread
• Iron-on interfacing: 40cm
• 10 buttons, 15mm in diameter
