Sew Liberated Estuary Skirt pattern
The Estuary is an easy-to-sew, elastic-backed waist, a-line skirt with patch pockets or in-seam pockets. It can be sewn with a full button placket or with a faux-front placket (sewing the buttons through all layers, omitting the button holes).
Fabric requirements
The Estuary is designed for woven fabrics. Look for mid-weight linens and linen blends, soft cottons, sillk noil, rayon challis, cotton ikat, and lighter-weight chambray or denim.
If you want to extend the skirt length beyond the provided midi length (25" / 64cm) add 5" (13cm) to your fabric requirement for each inch of added skirt length. If your fabric is directional, has a nap, or requires design matching, extra fabric may be required.
